What in the world is a Simp? And why are so many men, particularly young men becoming one? These are the questions I hope to answer in today’s article. If you have ever found yourself asking what a Simp is, or have been curious as to why this phenomenon has been sweeping across the globe, read on!
So What Is A Simp?
So what in the world is a Simp? My understanding of a Simp was always that it was a term to describe a woman’s pussy. You see, subreddits like /r/Simps and /r/GodPussy have really popularized the Simp style pussy in the last decade or so and have served as a platform for women across the globe to show off their Simps!
So what is a Simp in modern context?
Simply put, a Simp is a man who does too much. (per Urban Dictionary).
By my estimates, the term Simp began being used in this context sometime between 2019 and 2020. With new forms of social media like Tik Tok dramatically rising in popularity, Simps have been a hot topic of conversation and the word is thrown around like candy on platforms like Tik Tok.
Be a gentlemen and open the door for a lady? SIMP
Help your girlfriend or wife with her projects? SIMP
Be nice or respectful to a woman in any way shape or form? YOU SIR ARE A SIMP!!
You get the picture. As with any new word or form of slang that gets created…there is always a tendency for it to be overused.
But the examples I used above are not really cases of men being Simps. In fact, the examples above are pretty much the polar opposite of what Simping really is.
A TRUE Simp…is a man with no goals, no ambitions, nothing. The only purpose he has is to try and get any sliver of attention that he can from women online.

Why Is Simping A Problem
Who cares right? Honestly I agree. Who really does care that there are millions of men out there doing this to themselves? I’m all about freedom and if this is what these men want to do with their lives…then have at it. With that being said though, I do think its an issue worth discussing a bit. As a man myself, seeing other men engage in this type of harmful behavior is somewhat worrisome, simply because there’s so much more to life than sending donations to random women online.
Simping is a problem because there are millions of men throwing their lives away for a woman they will never have. As I mentioned in my OnlyFans article, women have the world at their fingertips when it comes to the internet.
They can stream themselves playing video games, and in some cases if they’re cute enough they can earn thousands just by sitting in front of a camera reacting to memes. With Instagram, Twitter, and other forms of social media…women who are cute enough can earn more than most Americans from the comfort of their own bedroom.
Sorry ladies, but posting selfies everyday is NOT WORK.
These women, in many if not all cases, know exactly what they are doing. They are preying on men. Lonely and in most cases desperate men. These are men who might lack social skills, maybe they’re not the most handsome, maybe they’ve never even kissed a girl before!
THESE are Simps. Not because they are virgins, but because they enable these women by sending them thousands of dollars simply to hear their name be read on stream.

So How Do We Stop Simping?
With the way the world is these days, I don’t see it happening. With a near constant war being waged on masculinity, the era of the “manly man” is slowly dying.
Mainstream media and social media in general wants you to be submissive to women. They want you to go to work for 8 hours a day and donate your paycheck to a cute twitch streamer on Friday night.
There is no hope for the lonely Simp because simping is truly all he has left in the world. The world is a tough place for a man to live in these days.
Women want men to be men, but at they same time they don’t want to act like women.
Equality between the two sexes can exist, but not when you push one down into a point of submission and force him to give up what he is. A man.
Simping will never die because there will always be a large amount of hopeless men out there who are desperate for attention. Can you really blame them?
At the end of the day, I pity the simp. I don’t hate him or feel anger towards him, I pity him because in his life…that’s all he has to look forward to. The only thing that is keeping him going is hearing his name read on stream.
That’s no way to live.
I’ll leave you with this fellas. Find a hobby. Find a girlfriend. Lower your standards if you have to. You’re not going to find some super hot mega bombshell model to have on your arm as arm candy. (Unless your rich enough I guess) But at that point do you even want to marry someone that’s only with you for your money?
Find a good woman who loves you and treats you right. Treat her right, and find your purpose in living a fulfilling life as a husband and father.
